BIOGRAPHY

Paola holds a master's degree in architecture from the University of Rome, her hometown. After moving to Cannes to start her career as an architect, she had the opportunity to move to the United States to design new Vespa stores. After 20 years of a career in the Washington D.C. area and lots of trips to Europe later, she decided to open an international studio, oriented towards open collaborations with her clients, fellow architects, and building craftsmen.

EUROPE

The city of Rome, a place so rich in architecture, pulled her professional career towards projects involving renovation and the rehabilitation of existing buildings. A deep sense of the geometry hidden in every construction and the respect for the building's relationship to its environment and history all greatly influence Paola's approach to design. Applying the teachings of the Italian School of Architecture, she renovates the existing and enriches the project with a new soul. Sustainability is a leitmotif in her work.

USA

The 20 years of working on American soil have influenced Paola's approach to architecture. In a country where a building is seen as an evolving fabric, where production times are fast, and customer service is a priority, she gained freedom of inspiration and a pragmatic attitude. The spaces she creates that master the use of the timber-framed structure mixed with steel beams have a new presence. She brings a mix of contemporary sleek design and classical timeless proportions to her projects.
