This project, located in the historic neighborhood of LeDroit Park in Washington D.C., included a variety of additions. We added an additional story with a modern flair that still integrated the residence’s existing fabric by reusing proportions and materials. We also added a new kitchen that connected to a porch with an entrance from the rear yard. We designed a basement office space and a terrace from the second-floor master bedroom as well.
