We are completing the design process of this addition of a screened porch with a studio on the top. The clients had with some specific requirements to add to their newly completed builder’s house. They wished something more crafted and detailed. A second story studio connecting from their master bedroom for remote work, and a screened porch to allow the family to enjoy outdoor living . The concept is to add something “precious” in their back yard. Various color options in bronze or dark gold, are in study for the metal covered roof and side walls. The structure will be a mixed of steel and wood framing to allow for a thinner and lighter aspect of the second story walls.
